The DIGISTONE prototype
was assessed by
questions on four parameters;
brightness, white balance, appeareance
of movies and readability of
text. The assessment was based on a
questionnaire asking test persons to review different projected
images.
The results from the test showed that brightness stability
is good for all three colors, only varying les than 10%. This
proves precise interface between concrete and LED.
Appearance of movies is good.
The DIGISTONE displays the content clearly with an
overall good quality. Readability of text is very good and moving
text does not seem to be an advantage.
Overall the assessment can conclude that the developed Digistone
screen works sufficiently to display movies, images and text. The
assessment also represents the beginning of a design guide or
design specifications for this future display technology.
